Lori Rupp, Owner
Lori loves creating and preserving memories and making people smile! She’s always thinking of others, is a glowing radiance of positivity everywhere she goes, and is all about health and wellness.
She is a proud mom of two beautiful daughters and a loving wife to her husband Joel of 25 years. In addition to keeping us all focused here at Kohne, she is a SendOutCards representative and has been a regional growth coordinator and President for Northwest Ohio’s BNI as well.
Gary Bendig, Owner
Canon shooter, musician, natural-born teacher, nature enthusiast and wildlife specialist. Gary’s never met a bird he didn’t like, and you’ll usually find him in the wetlands just east of Toledo. There’s just something about their wide diversity, great abundance, ability to fly and their harmless, bashful behavior that makes them such pleasing subjects for photographs.
While at Kohne Camera, you’d seek out Gary for help with Photoshop, classic film cameras and printing and finishing your large format outputs. He is the camera science expert and can teach you how to use your camera to get the pictures you want to take.
Mike, General Manager
A family man at heart, Mike is great at solving problems and is always there for employees and customers alike. He is the father of two adorable kids, a great husband to his wife of more than 20 years and has been working at Kohne for even longer than that! You’ll often find him entering data, handing out spreadsheets and making sure we have all that awesome gear in our store – or just about anything else you can think of.
Char, Lead Printer
While not actually a machine herself, Char prints orders so fast she might eventually be able to be classified as such. Skilled in efficient color correcting and self management, Char is an invaluable member of our team. When not producing 100 prints faster than you can blink, Char enjoys spending time with her husband and kids (when they aren’t off at college of course) and taking portraits.
Preston, Lead Sales
Preston is our lead sales guy. You will most likely see his smiling face when you first come into the store. His passions include videography and photography. He is particularly familiar with Canon cameras along with techniques in long exposure, landscape photography, Photoshop manipulation and Lightroom editing – but close-up (macro) stuff is his main photo love. “If you can imagine it, it can happen!”
Grant, Sales & Service
Grant is just as comfortable with a skateboard under his feet as he is with a camera in his hands. Whether discussing video or still photography methods and equipment, he’s been around the block and knows what you will need to achieve the professional results you desire. He’s especially experienced in both Fuji and Nikon, and if he’s not making a video, then you’ll find him snapping a street or landscape photo. Don’t let his age fool you – this guy knows things!
Vladimir, Production Service
Vladimir works in our production department. If you order anything from Pressed Art, he will be the one who makes your order to your highest expectation. Vladimir is a professional photographer with profound experience in different areas of photography and photo editing applications. He is full of creative ideas, and he successfully combines creativity and practicality by finding the best way to bring his ideas to life to the customer high satisfaction.
Vladimir is a people person, very friendly and outgoing: he brings his own sunshine wherever he goes and make people feel good around him. He is a wild nature enthusiast. He also loves music, and playing the guitar or the piano is the best type of relaxation for him. But most of all, he likes to spend time with his family. He is a loving husband and a caring father of three beautiful daughters.
Diane Rasure, Printing and Production
Diane joined the Kohne’s Team as a Prime Time Printer which has helped her continue her 40 year love of Photo Editing. She possesses a deep appreciation for all nature and all of her life’s journeys along with her simple everyday living. Her belief in preserving memories with photos and displaying them in fun ways is inspiring! Fun Fact: Her strong belief in capturing, preserving, organizing and cherishing her life have transformed into 196 albums (holding 300 ea) so far that are organized, cataloged, and documented with type. So that’s nearly 60,000 precious memories to view and share!
